ACTIVE AGEING YOGA
6 Week programme
We are excited to introduce our new 6-week Active Ageing Yoga Programme, created to support adults in our community who want to stay active, mobile, confident and connected as they move through life.
Many of us notice changes as we get older — perhaps a little more stiffness in the mornings, reduced balance, lower energy, disrupted sleep, aches and pains, or simply feeling less confident in our bodies than we used to.
This programme has been designed to help you (or someone you care about — a parent, friend or family member) feel stronger, steadier and more comfortable in everyday movement.
Whether you are looking to maintain your independence, return to exercise safely, manage stiffness or simply meet new people in a welcoming environment, this supportive small-group programme is for you.
Over six progressive weeks, we will focus on:
✅ Improving strength, balance and stability
✅ Increasing mobility and flexibility
✅ Supporting better posture and body awareness
✅ Encouraging relaxation, better sleep and reduced stress
✅ Promoting healthy circulation through movement and breathwork
✅ Building confidence and connection within the community
This is more than just a yoga class — it is an opportunity to invest in your wellbeing, create new friendships and build healthy habits that support a more active and fulfilling life.
We are opening this programme to both our existing members and the wider local community, creating a space where people can come together, move safely and create new memories.
To ensure everyone receives personalised support, places are limited to 10 participants only.
If this programme feels like it could benefit you, or someone you know, we would love to welcome you.

Meet your guide AFSHAN
Specialising in Forrest Yoga, Afshan is inspired by a multidisciplinary approach, integrating strength-based practices and her training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to support stability, resilience, and deep somatic awareness.
She teaches breathwork, meditation, and guided self-inquiry, and regularly facilitates workshops that help people reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and feel genuinely supported.
Drawing inspiration from poetry, travel, health, and human nature, Afshan brings warmth, grounded presence, and strong anatomical understanding to her teaching.
Her intention is to help people feel stronger, safer, and more at home within themselves, fostering deeper exploration and inner connection.
