OUR AMAZING TEACHERS

Ashtanga & Vinyasa Flow

  • (she/her)

Ana is a Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Mandala yoga teacher and a mother to two boys. She teaches with a deep focus on the breath and body mindfulness.

She found yoga to be the perfect antidote to a busy life. For that reason, her classes are calming, grounding and full of positive energy with the aim to bring balance to the body and mind. She hopes to combine a holistic approach to her yoga classes by incorporating asana (postures) with pranayama (breath work) and meditation.

Ana grew up in beautiful sunny Lisbon, Portugal. Although yoga is her passion, she also enjoys baking and believes a well-lived and happy life is a balanced life! So, do your yoga and eat your cake too!

Ana completed trainings with The Shala and The Yoga People.

Pregnancy and Postnatal

  • (she/her)

Having grown up with a yoga teacher mum, Anna has been around yoga and meditation practice most of her life. She became really dedicated to her personal practice in 2010 whilst at drama school, and completed her BWY 500-hour teacher training in 2019.

Following the birth of her first child she completed further training with BWY to specialise in pregnancy yoga and this year following the arrival of baby number two has trained with Birthlight in Integrated Baby Massage and Yoga. Anna feels it is a great privilege to share her love of yoga with others and hopes to help other people find calm and balance both on and off the mat.

Pilates & Vinyasa Flow

Becca became interested in yoga as a way to help manage anxiety. She found that nurturing the connection between mind, breath, and body benefitted her beyond just the time spent on the mat. Since then, Becca has undergone 400 hours' training in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Hot yoga and always weaves in an element of grounding during the practice to combat the sense of turbulence that fast-paced London can bring into student's lives. Becca teaches with a sense of humour and freedom, giving students full autonomy to explore, have fun, and laugh if things don't go as intended!

Becca completed a Masters degree in the History of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS, to deepen her understanding of the roots of yoga and how it came to evolve into the practice many of us know today.

In addition to yoga, Becca loves the peace and quiet of walks in the woods, baking, and abstract painting and can be found outdoors or making a mess somewhere!

Yin & Vinyasa Flow

  • (they/them)

Bella's dual vocations of yoga and music overlap in the exploration of the body, rhythm and movement as containers for feeling. Understanding Yoga as an exploration of consciousness and of being alive, Bella is profoundly grateful to the practice, with a teaching style that is enthusiastic, joyful and playful with emphasis on autonomy and curiosity.

Bella has been practicing Yoga since childhood, largely within the Iyengar lineage and trained in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. They combine alignment based modalities with intuitive movement and stillness to invite practitioners into deeper relationship with their body and breath through the practice of Pranayama.

Bella uses they/them pronouns and is passionate about facilitating embodiment spaces particularly for LGBTQ+ folk and inviting beginners into the practice.

Francesca practiced yoga alongside her career as a professional dancer from 2011, but began to deeply explore the practice from 2014 when ill health ended her dance career. Yoga offered Francesca the tools to work on herself physically and mentally and allowed movement to stay a part of her life.

After a number of years of developing a true connection with the practice of yoga she decided to train as a yoga teacher. She uses her previous dance experience to help create interesting classes, exploring the harmony between the body and mind through fluidity, strength and self-inquiry.

Francesca continues to develop her teaching skills in anatomy, mindfulness, yoga philosophy and more therapeutic practices. She is eager to introduce more people from varying backgrounds into the yoga space, offering a safe space for people to move, breathe and explore without judgment.

Grace trained as a group exercise instructor during university after falling in love with the Aerobics Society in her first year, and has been teaching a mix of fitness, HIIT and spin classes for the past decade. Her classes are fun, inclusive and as challenging as you want them to be - and there's always a great playlist to keep you entertained and spur you on (music requests are always welcome!). Outside of work as an accountant and teaching classes, she's a keen walker, connoisseur of baking chocolate brownies and loves hiding away in a good book.

Beginners Yoga

  • (she/her)

Ingrid's Yoga journey began when she was thirteen years old in Brazil, where she grew up. Since then, she has been practicing Yoga daily, while also integrating the Yoga philosophy into her life. After some years of practice, she decided to pursue Yoga teaching and enjoyed exploring various yoga methods, and participating in yoga festivals.

Ingrid decided to move to London in 2023 to further develop her studies in a new country. Last year, she completed another teacher training in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga at Rishikesh, India, which she considers one of the best experiences of her life.

For Ingrid, Yoga is not just about the physical asanas, but about exploring how we can carry the mindset of Yoga into daily life outside the mat. As one of the ancient Yoga texts - The Bhagavad Gita - says: “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

Ingrid also holds a certification in Prenatal Yoga, Yoga anatomy and Yin Yoga. She is a Reiki practitioner (USUI and Shamanic), crystal healer and sound healer.

Katharine's yoga and meditation journey started over a decade ago with her practice continually evolving to support her through life's ups and downs, remaining a deeply spiritual and grounding force in her life. She strongly believes that yoga can support us through the cyclical nature of life, supporting everyone in the right way at the right time, helping us to be in our bodies however it feels best.

Katharine is interested in lunar wisdom, Tarot, nature, spirituality from Celtic traditions of old, and she weaves these threads into her classes. Expect classes mixing asana, meditation and pranayama. Katharine trained with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in Well Woman Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra. She is also a qualified Intergrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a therapeutic practice in South East London.

Vinyasa Flow

Nula dipped into yoga on and off for over a decade, and always had an appreciation for the physical side of the practice. However, it was during the first pandemic lockdown when she began to realise the huge impact yoga had on her overall wellbeing - physically, emotionally and spiritually. It became a source of comfort and self-discovery in what was often a stressful and lonely time. Following the pandemic, she felt the calling to explore yoga and its teachings in more depth and embarked and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Nula is also an avid weightlifter, CrossFitter and ex-gymnast. She feels that yoga can be a wonderful complement to other sports and lifestyle practices.

In a class with Nula you can expect mindful, breath-focused flows, with the occasional challenge (and some fun) thrown in. She incorporates yoga philosophy and strongly believes that yoga offers us a blueprint that can help us to live more compassionately and peacefully in our daily lives.
